In Mythic+, Assassination has similar strengths and weaknesses compared to 어둠의 도가니 아베루스 but it can still hold its own against other classes. On any fights where the add damage ends up being important, Assassination might not be the best choice given its weak target swapping and AoE. Until then, I would consider it a fairly safe choice for strong Boss Damage and high survivability in a progression enviornment. This is however still very reliant on tuning, and we'll have to see how the early tuning of the raid shakes out in order to fully understand Assassinations position in a raid composition. 어둠의 도가니 아베루스 is a heavier single target Raid this time around, which should help Assassination in the meta, given its niche as a single target spec. Once the boss drops below 35% health, 졸디크의 비전 and 사각 지대 kick into overdrive and help push Assassination to the top! Sometimes this execute is very valuable, but it always remains to be seen how the bosses are tuned and how important the damage is, which leads to my next point. On top of that, Assassination also excels at execute damage. It won't be at the top of the Overall Charts, but if you let an Assassination Rogue stick to the boss, you'll get great results in Boss Damage metrics. In raids, Assassination is a powerhouse for Single Target Damage. While it may not boast very strong AoE, it always shines in Single Target, and can bring a whole suite of group utility that can help your team succeed!
